Podcast: Higher Ed Trends for Adult Learners

Goldie Blumenstyk, a senior writer at The Chronicle of Higher Education, discusses higher learning for the adult student, how it relates to the demographic changes in the US, and the US’ economic need to educate more adults.

“The numbers are sort of staggering. Some 80 million adults have some college or no college right now, but don’t have a degree, and another 15 million adults have an Associate’s degree, but don’t have a Bachelor’s degree…You would think colleges would jump at serving this population, and they are not,” explains Blumenstyk.
