Emiliana Vegas is chief of the Education Division at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C., where she leads a team working in the bank’s lending operations and research to support education systems throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2001-2012, MVegas worked at The World Bank, where she managed lending operations and applied research on regional and global education policy issues. She is the author of several articles in peer-reviewed journals, books, and institutional reports.
