Carrie Conaway is a senior lecturer on education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and co-author of Common-Sense Evidence: The Education Leader's Guide to Using Data and Research. Until June 2019, she was the chief strategy and research officer for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and led the agency’s Office of Planning and Research, which strengthens planning, data and resource use.
