New York Times economics writer Ben Casselman and Guild CEO and co-founder Rachel Romer Carlson join FutureU hosts Jeff Selingo and Michael B. Horn to discuss the current labor shortage and the role of higher ed in providing the necessary skills needed for workers.
“Companies now have to figure out, okay what’s our differentiator?” asked Carlson. “That’s where purpose comes in. We know that Millennials and Gen Z want faster pathways than their parents did in terms of their careers.”
