FutureEd Director Thomas Toch joined Education Gadfly hosts Mike Petrilli and and David Griffith to discuss how school districts and charter organizations are planning to spend the $122 billion in Covid-relief aid provided in the American Rescue Plan.
“We do think it’s important to understand what the spending priorities are,” Toch said. “Budgets can drive priorities to a certain extent.”
He cautioned that implementation could be uneven across the districts. “The money can be put to good use, let’s hope it is,” he said.
