Podcast: Community College Innovation

Marcia Ballinger, the president of Lorain County Community College in Ohio, speaks about the journey her college has taken to create more equitable outcomes for its students, which has included making changes to its culture and establishing thoughtful partnerships. 

Ballinger elaborates, “We moved from a cafeteria model where there were over 120 different choices down to guided pathways that provide for essentially nine meta-majors and very structured around that.”
