June 11 Event: Transforming Public School Teaching in DC

FutureEd and The Georgetown University DC Public Policy Initiative are co-hosting a policy briefing and panel discussion on teacher evaluation reforms in Washington, D.C.

The event marks the release of a new FutureEd report,  A Policymaker’s Playbook: Transforming Public School Teaching in the Nation’s CapitalDrawing on hundreds of hours of interviews with past and present DCPS leaders, staff, principals, teachers, union officials, and researchers, the report provides an in-depth analysis of the school system’s abandonment of teaching’s traditional policies and practices in pursuit of a new paradigm for public school teaching.
