WEBINAR: The Past, Present, and Future of America’s School Boards

Hosted by the Brookings Institution’s Center on Education Policy at Brookings, this webinar examines how America’s school boards have been reshaped by the disruptions of the 2020s. The session will explore both the pressures and evolving responsibilities facing board members, drawing on two new Brookings reports that analyze the impact of COVID-19 and political polarization on school governance. It will also share findings from a nationally representative survey of school board members, highlighting how their experiences, priorities, and perceptions of their role have changed since the pandemic.
