WEBINAR: Technology, Trust, and the Digital Divide

Hosted by the Campaign for Grade Level Reading, this webinar will address the rising tensions between advocates pushing for equitable digital access and policy moves aimed at limiting student screen time and education technology. It will explore how potential changes to the Federal Communications Commission's E-Rate program could strain school budgets and disproportionately harm rural communities. Additionally, the panel will highlight community solutions, such as the deployment of trained Digital Navigators, and discuss advocacy strategies to ensure uneven technology access gaps are not overlooked amidst diminishing public trust.
