WEBINAR: State Approaches to Improve K-12 Math Achievement

Join Education Commission of the State in this webinar that highlights state policy approaches to improve K-12 math achievement. Recent results from the National Assessment of Educational Progress show that many students have not rebounded to pre-COVID-19 achievement levels in math or reading. While many states have begun implementing policy solutions to improve literacy outcomes, fewer states have adopted policies related to math instructional supports. In this session, state leaders from Kentucky and North Carolina will share their progress in building students’ foundational numeracy skills and supporting teachers and districts throughout implementation.
