WEBINAR: Resource Equity in Action: Developing Your Resource Equity Message

In Resource Equity in Action: Developing Your Resource Equity Message, advocates will learn how to make the case for resource equity in their community using the power of messaging. Communications experts from EdTrust will introduce successful strategies for developing messages that “land” with their intended audience, as outlined in the Alliance for Resource Equity’s Casemaking Decks, and preview the release of a new storytelling tool showcasing the impacts of resource inequity through data. They will then outline how advocates can further their message in the face of dissent and opposition using bridging statements. Following this presentation, participants will engage in an interactive activity, during which they will craft effective messages that speak to their community's specific needs and lead to more equitable resource allocation.
