WEBINAR: Homeroom with Education Leaders | Ready for the Real World: How States Can Enable Career Education

As workforce demands continue to evolve, ensuring students have access to both rigorous academic preparation and hands-on career training is critical. According to The Hunt Institute’s Across the Aisle data, 69 percent of parents and voters strongly favor increasing job skills and workforce training opportunities in high school like internship opportunities and apprenticeships. Join College Board and The Hunt Institute for a conversation on how schools and districts can integrate AP coursework with CTE opportunities through College Board’s Career Kickstart Initiative, which will allow students to earn college credit while also receiving industry-recognized credentials. In addition, experts will discuss what states can do to create a policy environment ideal for implementing and scaling this important work.
