WEBINAR: High-Impact Tutoring as a Remedy for Pandemic Lost Learning: LA Settlement

This webinar is hosted by the Campaign for Grade Level Reading. Last fall, Black and Latino families reached a settlement with Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) to provide three years of high-impact tutoring, evidence-based teacher development, and family programming to re-engage students who were negatively impacted by pandemic-era distance learning policies and school closures. Panelists, including Los Angeles-area leaders and advocates, will discuss the background of the lawsuit and settlement, the importance of high-impact tutoring and other supports as remedies for learning loss, and opportunities for other districts to implement similar policies.
