WEBINAR: Fostering Student Belonging and Connectedness to Improve Attendance

Join the Department’s Student Engagement and Attendance Center (SEAC) and REL Midwest for a webinar titled "Fostering Student Belonging and Connectedness to Improve Attendance." Intended for state and district level teams, this webinar will feature strategies that promote student belonging and connectedness and cover ways that these concepts can be measured and used to make data-informed school improvement decisions. Additionally, REL Midwest and a school leader from Akron Public Schools will discuss the Making Equitable Schools Audit (MESA) approach for high schools. MESA is a yearlong facilitated and collaborative approach designed to help schools use existing data and leverage community-wide relationships to move toward more equitable experiences to improve student belonging and connectedness.
