EVENT: A new direction for AI and students: Findings from the Brookings Global Task Force on AI and Education

After over a year of consultations, focus groups, and interviews with education leaders, technologists, AI experts, teachers, families, and students across 50 countries as well as a deep dive into the latest research, the Brookings Global Task Force on AI in Education task force is launching a new report. “A new direction for students in an AI world: Prosper, Prepare, Protect” (forthcoming) will share key findings, recommendations, and a coordinated action plan drawn from the year-long global study. Panelists will explore how AI could transform learning— if well-designed and ethically used— and the risks that accompany a failure to implement these guardrails.
