WEBINAR: Charting the Path Forward: State Education Chiefs on Accelerating Learning Recovery

After the learning loss caused by pandemic-precipitated school disruptions, federal investments in the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund funneled billions of dollars to State Departments of Education to support relief strategy efforts. These funds enabled Chief State School Officers and their teams to make big investments in the strategies and solutions that can make more than incremental change for student progress. With the looming ESSER funding cliff, big questions about how to sustain and scale these strategies and solutions are front of mind with data continuing to show widened gaps and learning losses. This session will convene a panel of Chief State School Officers to discuss these issues and how they are planning to prioritize and sustain the successful efforts initiated with the ESSER dollars.
